Cuatro detenidos por la desaparición de Melina Romero
Ana María de Romero, reveló ayer que la Policía le dijo que su hija “está muerta, que la golpearon y la mataron”. Ante las declaraciones de su madre, el joven Romero indicó: “Nosotros nos estamos guiando por el testimonio de los detenidos” que habrían confesado “que supuestamente la mataron, que la tiraron al río, que la mataron a golpes”
Las tareas de búsqueda de la adolescente Melina Romero, quien lleva tres semanas desaparecida, continuaron hoy en la localidad bonaerense de Tres de Febrero sin arrojar indicios sobre el paradero de la joven, mientras se confirmó un cuarto detenido en la causa. La familia de Romero se mostró esperanzada en encontrar con vida a la joven, que fue vista por última vez en la madrugada del domingo 24 de agosto tras salir de una discoteca, y confirmó que conocen a uno de los cuatro detenidos. En tanto, el abogado, Marcelo Biondi, representante de los familiares, aclaró que la principal hipótesis que manejan los investigadores es el “homicidio”. La tercera jornada de rastrillajes se inició por la mañana dentro y en torno del arroyo Morón, en el cruce del Camino del Buen Ayre y la ruta 8, ya que un grupo de jóvenes aseguró que había sido asesinada, y continuó hasta el anochecer sin arrojar indicios sobre el paradero de Romero. Agentes de la policía, buzos tácticos y bomberos volvieron a montar su campamento en torno al río para retomar la búsqueda de la joven, en la que también trabajaron perros rescatistas, kayacs y un drone. Por otra parte, se confirmó la detención de un cuarto sospechoso que estaría implicado que, según informaron fuentes policiales, es un joven de 17 años. El joven se sumó así a los otros tres imputados en la causa, acusados del presunto homicidio agravado y violencia de género. Al respecto, el abogado de la familia Romero indicó que entre los detenidos “hay personas que eran conocidas y tenían relación, al menos amistosa, con Melina”. El letrado agregó que las autoridades que llevan adelante la investigación se basan sobre la “manifestación espontánea” de uno de los detenidos que habría confesado el crimen de la menor de edad durante una supuesta fiesta sexual que habría durado tres días, realizada en una casa donde funcionaba un templo umbanda. Por la mañana, Gustavo Romero, uno de los tres hermanos de la chica, se esperanzó con encontrar a su hermana con vida al señalar que en su familia están “rezando para eso”. De todas formas, su madre, Ana María de Romero, reveló ayer que la Policía le dijo que su hija “está muerta, que la golpearon y la mataron”. Ante las declaraciones de su madre, el joven Romero indicó: “Nosotros nos estamos guiando por el testimonio de los detenidos” que habrían confesado “que supuestamente la mataron, que la tiraron al río, que la mataron a golpes”. Confirmó que conocen a uno de los detenidos, de nombre Leandro, que “es conocido de mis hermanos” y, dijo, podría estar vinculado con la religión umbanda. Al referirse al video en el que se la ve a Melina besándose con uno de los detenidos, el chico advirtió que su hermana estaba “incómoda” y que “se lo quería sacar de encima”. Por último, la madre pidió que se respete “la situación y el dolor de la familia y que no estén inventando cosas”, en alusión al hallazgo de una cadenita que negó haber confirmado que fuese de su hija como trascendió. “Mi hermana no tenía ninguna cadenita”, enfatizó Gustavo Romero y recordó que la adolescente solía llevar un colgante con un corazón pero “se lo tiramos el año pasado porque estaba oxidado”, por lo que aseguró que el collar “no pertenece a Melina”. Melina fue vista por última vez en la madrugada del domingo 24 de agosto tras salir de la discoteca Chankanab, situada en Presidente Perón 3347 del partido bonaerense de San Martín, donde había celebrado su cumpleaños la noche anterior.
